01 / Project path
Clear decisions at every stage.
Each stage moves the story, production plan, or final work toward an agreed outcome.
Discovery
We begin by understanding what you are communicating, who needs to understand it, and what the content needs to accomplish.
Creative direction and scope
East Cut translates the business goal into a clear story, visual direction, set of deliverables, and production approach.
Pre-production
Before the cameras roll, East Cut aligns the script and story with your goals, then plans access, schedules, shot priorities, and the call sheet around our core two-person team.
Production
Your team can focus on the message and enjoy the experience while East Cut directs the process and manages the technical execution.
Post-production
East Cut shapes the footage into a cohesive story, with the post-production scope tailored to the project's complexity and intended uses.
Review and delivery
Your team reviews the work at agreed stages before East Cut delivers organized, ready-to-use assets for the channels defined in the scope.
02 / Operating model
Experienced, focused, and built to stay efficient.
Most projects begin with East Cut's core two-person production team, keeping communication direct and the set easy to navigate.
03 / Practical details
Know the boundaries before booking.
01Will East Cut develop the concept?
East Cut helps shape your message, story structure, interview approach, visual direction, and shot priorities. The client provides the product truth, customer context, and final message approval.
02Who will be on set?
Most productions are built around East Cut's core two-person team: Marie Verant as producer and director, also supporting lighting and second-camera coverage, alongside a dedicated director of photography and camera operator. Additional specialists are brought in only when the project genuinely requires them.
03Can you capture our product or software?
Yes. Client-supplied screen recordings or simple guided capture can be incorporated into the edit. Complex product walkthroughs, motion graphics, advanced UI capture, and sensitive-data cleanup are scoped separately.
04Is photography included?
Photography is included only when it is intentionally added to the project scope. East Cut can capture stills directly or bring in a dedicated photographer when simultaneous photo and video coverage is needed.
05How long does post-production take?
The schedule depends on the format, volume of deliverables, and editing complexity. Longer-form videos typically require two to three weeks, with the delivery schedule confirmed in the proposal.
06How are revisions handled?
Each proposal defines the included review stages and revision rounds. Your team shares consolidated feedback, and East Cut makes the agreed adjustments before final delivery.
07How is the project priced?
Each project is scoped around the concept, production time, locations, deliverables, usage, and post-production requirements. After discovery, East Cut presents clear scope options aligned with the project's priorities.
08Do you create social-first content?
Yes. Edits are adapted to their distribution channels, but East Cut does not sell trend-chasing or guaranteed virality. The goal is clear, credible content that keeps working after a trend moves on.
